My wife changed careers as a teacher into something that she could do from anywhere with a computer. She decided to start a small business providing technical support for computers, but she soon realized she needed additional computer technology training. She was very proficient at mainstream programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but she needed additional help with computer networking, email and several other issues. She got her new company off the ground by hiring well qualified people, but she still wants to know more in order to fully understand customer issues. She is right in thinking that she will serve her customers better if she can fully understand their problems.
