The iPad 2 has been met with a surge of publicity – everyone wants to own the device and everyone wants to know where to find the best prices for the device online. However, the release itself has been somewhat patchy – a lot of retailers have not even started stocking the device, and Apple itself seems ready to ride the wave of popularity, offering the device a lot cheaper than many of the web’s largest retailers (Amazon.com does not even appear to be stocking the device at this point in time).
The exact location where you should purchase the iPad 2 will depend greatly on which model you want to go for: 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. Obviously, the price for ipad will vary depending on which model you choose however you should generally expect that the 16GB model will be the cheapest of the bunch. One of the best places to look for the latest deals will be via your favourite search engine. Type in a term like “iPad Price” will bring up a lot of the latest deals.
A second option is of course to go for the standard price comparison site, or even some of the more popular retailers online like Comet, Currys, Best Buy and more. Price Comparison sites are typically preferred mainly because you can compare deals across hundreds of different merchants from one place. However, it’s important to remember that the best deal isn’t always the one displayed (price comparison sites are, as you should always remember, merely affiliates at heart – they have a vested interest in sending you to the highest commission products).
